State Government Relations

State Government Relations: The Government Relations office works with members of Ohio's General Assembly and their staff to obtain support for operating dollars and construction funds for the College. The College receives over $70 million dollars annually from the State of Ohio through the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) and Extension line items via the Ohio Board of Regents budget. These monies are direct allocations by the Ohio General Assembly.

The State Extension Advisory Committee and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center Advisory Committee are key partners in this work for the College. These two organizations share the common goal of advocating and promoting research and extension programs that directly effect Ohio's economy, environment, and the well being of its citizens.
