Applying for Departmental Scholarships

First you must file the college's Scholarship Application Form. Since unit application procedures vary, you should also contact the academic unit in which your major is administered. You may be asked to complete an additional departmental form. Many departmental awards require documented financial need. You can receive consideration for both college and unit awards, but only if you file the appropriate forms. The receipt of a departmental academic award does not preclude your receiving college or University awards if you qualify for them.
