You can still be a Buckeye even if you don't want to start your college
career at The Ohio State University's Columbus Campus. We'd like you to
consider applying to Ohio State's Agricultural Technical Institute
(ATI) in Wooster, Ohio.
While you study at ATI, you can complete approximately half of the
requirements for a bachelor's degree in agriculture, environment and
natural resources at The Ohio State University College of Food,
Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. So, if you know that you will
one day complete a four-year degree, you can complete half of it before
you even get to Columbus.
All students enrolled at ATI will be assigned a faculty advisor. In
addition to this advisor, you will also have an advisor at the Columbus
Campus. Dr. Jill Pfister, assistant dean for academic affairs, works
closely with ATI students who want to transfer in order to make the
move to Columbus more successful.
ATI's general education courses are also commonly transferable to other
degree programs in Ohio besides Ohio State.
If you like, explore ATI more now.
Contact Dr. Pfister if you'd like to pursue this transfer option. She
will work closely with you to help make transferring as smooth as
possible.
