Find out what it really takes.
Are you currently a high school student and vet school is in your
future? If so, we would like you to come to our college's Pre-Vet Day
on Saturday, April 12th. It is important for you to
receive the advice and information you need to prepare yourself for vet
school early.
We will answer your questions. Give you a tour of campus. And have you
meet some of our faculty members and students.
Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine accepts more students from
our college than anywhere else. Because of the relationship we have
with the College of Veterinary Medicine, we can provide you with
answers to your questions.
There will be two Pre-Vet Day sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Morning session will be from 9 am. to 12 pm.
Afternoon session will be from 1 pm. to 4 pm.
**All sessions will be in Kottman Hall (within an easy 5 minute walk of the College of Veterinary Medicine)
In addition to the Pre-Vet Day programming the College of Veterinary
Medicine will be having an open house for students and parents to visit
while they are here on campus. For more information please visit their
website at vet.osu.edu.
Each Pre-Vet Day session will feature:
· Registration and Exhibits
· Opening Session (overview of what it takes to get into vet school including a student panel)
· Major Sessions and CFAES Campus Tour
· University Admissions, Honors, and Financial Aid Session
· Closing
