  1. Rattan Lal Appointed to BIFAD by President Biden

    On January 14th, President Biden announced his intent to appoint Rattan Lal, Distingushed Professor of Soil Science, to the Board for International Food and Agricultural Development (BIFAD). The President appoints members who primarily represent the academic community to advise the U.S.

  2. 2021 Farm Science Review to be live and in person

    LONDON, Ohio—The Ohio State University’s Farm Science Review, which was held online last year because of the pandemic, will return this year to be live and in person for the 59th annual event.

    The premier agricultural education and industry exposition is set for Sept. 21–23 at Ohio State’s Molly Caren Agricultural Center, 135 State Route 38, near London.

  3. State-of-the-Art Animal Facility Coming to Ohio State

    A tour might begin with a robot milking cows, then move to the barn where newborn piglets nestle beside their mother or hens have just laid eggs. 

    Pigs, chickens, cattle, sheep, horses and goats are coming to The Ohio State University’s Columbus campus, and the public will have a chance to not only see them but understand how they’re raised.
