Located within the Department of Animal Sciences, the student-led Meat Shoppe is an opportunity for Meat Science students to learn about food processing and develop skills in research and retail. The Meat Shoppe offers a variety of beef, lamb and pork products for sale. Orders must be placed by Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. and pick-up is Friday from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. inside the Animal Science building (2029 Fyffe Road, Columbus) on the first floor.

Ohio State Maple Syrup comes from the university’s Mansfield campus, where students and faculty within the CFAES School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) run a nearly 20-acre sugarbush. Each year a limited amount of syrup is collected, processed and available for sale through SENR and OSU Extension. New batches are released in May.

Buckeye honey is harvested from hives, processed, and bottled at the Rothenbuhler Honey Bee Research Lab located on the CFAES Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory. The proceeds from the sale of honey will go toward student internships, scholarships and research projects along with maintenance and upkeep of the site.
CFAES Ice Cream | Parker Dairy Store
The Department of Food Science and Technology sells select flavors of ice cream produced on campus by CFAES students, faculty and staff. Vanilla and Maudine’s Berry Patch are currently on sale at the Parker Dairy Store in the Parker Food Science and Technology building.
