Construction Management at Ohio State ATI prepares you for leadership roles in the construction industry. In this Associate of Applied Science program, you’ll build practical skills in building construction while gaining exposure to other parts of the industry.

You’ll learn how to read and interpret construction drawings, understand current code requirements, estimate costs, plan projects and manage construction processes. Your coursework focuses on the day-to-day knowledge employers need, including scheduling, sitework planning and key areas of building science.

This program is a strong fit if you want to move into the workforce with hands-on experience and management-focused training after earning your degree.

Learn by doing

You’ll build experience both on and off campus. ATI’s construction laboratory gives students the chance to work with and test:

  • Electrical systems 
  • HVAC systems 
  • Plumbing systems 
  • Steel framing 
  • Wood framing 

In the ATI computer lab, students also learn CAD and construction-specific software used for estimating and scheduling.
