About

Big ideas don’t change the world — people do. At the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership (ACEL), you’ll learn how to connect people to the science, innovation and stories that shape our communities and our world.

Whether you want to teach agriculture, lead a nonprofit, manage digital media or influence policy, ACEL gives you the skills to inform and empower others. You’ll study how people learn, how messages spread and how leadership turns ideas into action all while building hands-on experience through teaching labs, internships, study abroad and community engagement.

From classrooms to county fairs, boardrooms to social platforms, ACEL students learn how to bring people together around shared purpose. With strong mentorship and real-world experience, you’ll graduate ready to teach, lead and inspire the next generation.
