Agribusiness and Applied Economics blends business strategy with economic analysis to help you navigate the fast-moving world of food, agriculture and bio-based products. Agribusiness Generalist gives you a flexible, business-forward foundation for careers across the food and agriculture economy. You’ll strengthen core skills in management, marketing, finance and economic analysis — then tailor electives to match your interests, from supply chains and consumer markets to sustainability and resource decisions. This option is ideal if you want versatility and the ability to pivot across roles and industries after graduation.
Agribusiness Industry is built for students who want to step into agribusiness leadership — on the commercial side of food and agriculture. You’ll develop strong business and economic skills and apply them to the real structures of the industry: supply chains, market channels, risk and the financial decisions that drive companies forward. Graduates are prepared for roles in merchandising, sales, operations and management across firms that produce, process, distribute and sell agricultural products.
What can I do with this degree?
More than 95% of all graduates find employment within six months of graduating. The college operates a career development office to assist students in finding internships and full-time employment.
