About this program

About

Greenhouse and Nursery Management at Ohio State ATI prepares you for hands-on careers in the horticulture industry. In this Associate of Applied Science program, you’ll combine classroom learning with practical experience in industry-focused facilities. You’ll build the technical knowledge and problem-solving skills needed to grow, manage and market plants in commercial greenhouse and nursery settings.

Students in this program choose a specialization that matches their interests and career goals. You can focus on greenhouse plant production, including ornamental crops and greenhouse vegetables, or develop skills in advanced production technology used in modern horticulture. Either path helps you prepare for work in a fast-changing industry that depends on both plant knowledge and technical skill.
