Build your skills with internships

Students in Horse Production & Management gain experience through both practicum and internship learning. Practicum is required for all equine students and provides supervised, hands-on work experience at the Ohio State ATI horse facilities. In this setting, you’ll learn to think independently, evaluate problems and apply solutions while assisting with the daily husbandry and care of horses.

Students in the program also complete a full-time industry internship. Ohio State ATI encourages you to find internship opportunities in the United States and abroad, helping to expand your experience and build professional connections before graduation.
