About
An Associate of Science degree in Animal Sciences - Horse Specialization at Ohio State ATI provides you with a solid foundation in general education requirements and science courses. Students who want to continue their education can go on to earn an Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences on the Columbus campus.
You’ll study the principles and best management practices behind equine management, including nutrition, reproduction, welfare, health and daily care. Horse specific courses provide you with applicable skills and knowledge if you're seeking professional employment in the equine industry. You'll also get practical experience at the Ohio State ATI Equine Center, where students work directly with horses and solve real-world challenges.
