Want to join the team?
The CFAES Ambassador Team is a selective student leadership group made up of students across our majors.
As an Ambassador, you represent CFAES to prospective students, families, alumni and guests. You'll help others see what makes our college special.
If you love your experience in CFAES and want to grow as a leader, this is your opportunity to make an impact.
Applications to join the CFAES Ambassador Team are open in the autumn semester. We would love to have you join us!
- Lead campus tours for prospective students and their families.
- Serve on student panels and answer questions about the CFAES experience.
- Support recruitment initiatives with the Academic Programs Office.
- Represent CFAES at alumni and donor events.
- Collaborate with other student leadership groups.
- Promote awareness of CFAES across the Ohio State community.
- Attend events such as State FFA Convention, National FFA Convention and university conferences.
You’ll build confidence, strengthen your communication skills and expand your professional network, all while giving back to the college.
Ambassador involvement is flexible and designed to work with your class schedule.
Typical commitments include:
- One meeting per month
- CFAES campus tours
- Student panels
- Alumni events
- Annual retreat
- Recruitment events with Prospective Student Services
Involvement is tracked through a point system. Maintaining your points keeps your status active for future semesters.
As a CFAES Ambassador, you will:
- Develop leadership and public speaking skills
- Build connections with faculty, staff and fellow student leaders
- Strengthen your resume
- Help future Buckeyes find their home in CFAES
This is a selective opportunity that includes an interview process. If you enjoy sharing your experience and want to represent CFAES in a meaningful way, we encourage you to apply.
Ready to get started?
Applications to join the CFAES Ambassador team will open in the fall of 2026. We would love to have you join us!
