Kaletunç picked for national program for women faculty in STEM

Gönül Kaletunç of CFAES’s Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering was one of two Ohio State faculty members chosen to be fellows in the highly selective Executive Leadership in Academic Technology and Engineering (ELATE) Program. Also selected was Dorota Grejner-Brzezinska, Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering in the College of Engineering.

Launched by Drexel University, ELATE is a prestigious national leadership development program for senior women faculty in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and related disciplines.

Ohio State candidates learned of the program through an event hosted by Gender Initiatives in STEMM (GI-STEMM) in the Office of Research. GI-STEMM will host another event in fall 2015 to provide information on the ELATE program and application process.—onCampus via Office of Research
