Open Doors training being offered March 26 in Dayton

Due to bad weather, the Open Doors Bias Awareness Training session scheduled for Feb. 5 was cancelled. The new date is March 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Adventure Central in Dayton. There is no cost for the training but you do need to register in advance. To register, click here.

What is Open Doors?

Open Doors is a four-hour training sessionconsisting of three modules that focus on recognizing, identifying and addressing bias.

  • Module 1: What is bias and how do I interrupt it?
  • Module 2: Sharing identities and empathetic listening.
  • Module 3: Working with persons in distress.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided, compliments of the Multicultural Center of Ohio State's Office of Student Life.
