Congratulations to Suzanne Steel, assistant director, CFAES Communications, who will begin her four-year term on the Association for Communication Excellence board as vice president beginning at the group’s annual meeting in June in Charleston, South Carolina. In 2016, she will become president-elect and then will serve as president in 2017-18. In her final year, she will serve as past president.
She will be the third ACE president from Ohio in the past 25 years, or fourth if one counts former CFAES Communications Director Bob Furbee, who was at Kansas State when he was elected — not a bad Buckeye legacy.
“ACE is an international association of communicators, educators and information technologists,” according to the group’s website. “The organization offers professional development and networking for individuals who extend knowledge about agriculture, natural resources, and life and human sciences.”
