CFAES recognizes 12 at 50th Alumni Awards Ceremony

COLUMBUS—The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) honored 12 individuals during its 2021 Alumni Awards Ceremony on March 4, the 50th such ceremony in the college’s history.

The event was held online via YouTube Premiere.

The 2021 honorees are:

Young Professional Achievement Award

  • Cindy Barrera, PhD, 2016, food, agricultural and biological engineering
  • Ken Davis, BS, 2008, agribusiness and applied economics

International Alumni Award

  • Claudio Ribeiro, PhD, 2005, animal, dairy, and poultry science
  • Yuri Lopes Zinn, PhD, 2005, soil science

Distinguished Alumni Award

  • David Adamkin, BS, 1970, animal sciences
  • Robert Downey, BS, 1977, animal sciences
