Frequently asked questions

Question
What is the Regional Campus Commitment?

Answer
This award helps close the gap between your total tuition and mandatory fees and the aid you receive from federal, state, and university sources. After your other grants and scholarships are applied, this program helps cover what’s left. It works much like Ohio State’s Buckeye Opportunity Program, which pays tuition and mandatory fees for Pell-eligible Ohio residents with significant financial need on all campuses.

Question
Will you accept my College Credit Plus?

Answer
Credits earned can transfer toward a bachelor’s degree. General education courses that meet the Ohio Transfer 36 guarantees transferability to Ohio universities and colleges.

Question
How do I apply, and what are the admission requirements?

Answer
Students can apply as first-year applicants if they are or will be a high school graduate, have never enrolled at a college or university (college classes in high school aren't counted) and a U.S. resident. Requirements for transfer students and regional campuses may differ. Visit our Transfer pages and Ohio State ATI future students pages for more information.

Question
What scholarships or financial aid options are available?

Answer
Scholarship Universe is our one source for all scholarships at Ohio State for both college tuition and Global Education programs. Visit our Paying for College page to learn more.

Question
Can I start at a regional campus or Ohio State ATI and transition to Columbus?

Answer
Yes! And that's a great way to get some of your basic classes out of the way at a more affordable rate. We have advisors to help you check your eligibility and the transition to Columbus.

Question
What career opportunities do CFAES graduates pursue?

Answer
Our students advance to careers all over the world. Did you know 96% of our graduates report being employed within 6 months of graduation? Want to continue your education? We have a wide range of graduate degrees to pursue as well.
