Transferring to CFAES from another college or university
If you are currently attending a college or university that is not part of The Ohio State University, you’ll need to meet these minimum requirements to be considered for transfer to CFAES:
- 30 or more hours of transferable college credit completed after high school graduation
- 2.0 or higher cumulative college GPA
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission, but it makes you eligible to be considered.
Don’t forget Ohio State’s transfer criteria
Ohio State also has university-wide transfer admission standards you must meet in addition to CFAES expectations.
- Overall transfer requirements
- How your credits might transfer
- Any additional steps or materials you may need
Your next steps
- Check the deadline for the term when you want to start.
- Review Ohio State’s official transfer student criteria.
- Connect with an advisor to talk about how your courses will fit into your CFAES major.
If you have questions at any point, reach out. We’re ready to help you become a Buckeye in CFAES.
