- Katrina Cornish; Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE) and Horticulture and Crop Science; CFAES Innovator of the Year Award (and also, two days later, Ohio State’s Innovator of the Year Award)
- Elena Irwin, Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics; Jay Martin, FABE; and Robyn Wilson, School of Environment and Natural Resources; CFAES Multi-disciplinary Team Research Award
Also recognized at the conference were the winners of last year’s CFAES Staff Advisory Council Awards—Ivory Harlow, Ohio State University South Centers, Innovation Award; Jami Dellifield, Ohio State University Extension, Key Values Award; Chrissy Kaminski, OSU Extension, Special Recognition; and Bill Smiley, CFAES Advancement, Shirley Brooks-Jones Award—and Emile Gluck Thaler, Plant Pathology (advised by Jason Slot, Plant Pathology), recipient of the William E. Krauss Award for Excellence in Graduate Research.
