    Ohio State University Extension has announced the appointment of Extension professionals Eric Barrett and Chris Zoller to state-level interim positions. Barrett will serve as interim assistant dean of OSU Extension and associate chair of the Department of Extension, effective Nov. 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, or until the permanent position is filled.     OSU Extension to continue teleworking arrangements during Stay Safe Ohio order

    Columbus, Ohio—Ohio State University Extension will continue operating via its teleworking plan for all employees and will keep physical OSU Extension offices closed to the public until further notice. This remains in accordance with The Ohio State University’s decision that all university employees, with the exception of essential facilities workers, are to continue teleworking and remain off campus, physical distancing and taking all other precautions to stay safe.     COLUMBUS, Ohio—Ohio State University Extension has implemented a teleworking plan effective immediately, and all OSU Extension offices statewide are closed until further notice. The plan mirrors The Ohio State University’s decision earlier this week to require all employees who can do so to work from home and to maintain only critical services on university property across all campuses.
