WOOSTER, Ohio — The Ohio Agricultural Research Development Center presented the following staff and years of service awards at its annual Employee Appreciation Night on Oct. 1 in Wooster. The center is the research arm of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University.

OARDC Director Steve Slack, who has announced he will retire at the end of 2015, spoke and emceed the program with assistance from the center’s associate director, Dave Benfield. Bruce McPheron, Ohio State’s vice president for agricultural administration and dean of CFAES, also provided opening comments.

OARDC faculty and staff work in Wooster, at the OSU South Centers in Piketon, on Ohio State’s main campus in Columbus, and at eight outlying agricultural research stations around Ohio.
