Bees In Your Backyard

Bees in Your Backyard: Spotting, Collecting and Identifying Ohio Bees

June 4, 5, and 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Learn from bee expert Olivia Carril at one of three day-long native bee workshops. This year’s “Bee Tour” will focus on practical ID in the field, using cameras or phones to capture images, and citizen science for everyone. We’ll practice hands-on bee identification through microscopes and exploration in the field with Olivia and a team of biology experts.

Olivia has been studying bees for over 20 years, and is the co-author of The Bees in Your Backyard, A Field Guide to North America’s Bees.
