Exploring the Human-Dog Relationship through Canine Cartoons

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this event!

With over 100 people in attendance virtually, and 5 presenters from across the university and beyond, this event was a great success in sharing the many ways in which our relationship with dogs has evolved over time, and how that relationship has been depicted through media. From discussing how dogs evolved to be so engrained in our society, to describing how we train our companion dogs versus training a dog to assist visually impaired folks, to the relationship and/or bond we form with dogs, and how those relationships might differ in the future, we covered a wide variety of topics! Stay tuned for a full recording of the event, to be posted on our YouTube channel.

You’ll even see some dogs in action!
