Ethics in today’s workplace and local communities continue to get a lot of attention. This session will begin with creating an understanding of the basis for strong ethical leadership in both the workplace and in our communities. In addition, the workshop introduces strategies to effectively handle ethical dilemmas when neither option is good or when you have to choose between two acceptable outcomes. As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will have added value to their current capacities as leaders to create a highly ethical environment.

This workshop will explore:

  • The foundation for ethical leadership including role of mentors, our values, and distinguishing between ethical and unethical behaviors;
  • Reasons for ethical failures in the workplace;
  • Strategies for leaders and organizations to create an ethical culture and engage in better conversations; and
  • Applying an ethical decision-making model on various ethical dilemmas/scenarios.
