GTA Toolkit: Why and How to Integrate Contemplative Practices in the Classroom (Cancelled)
Research in the field of teaching and learning suggests reflection is foundational to learning, while stressful environments negatively impact learning. Contemplative practices that encourage reflection and reduce stress have demonstrated positive effects on learning outcomes. In this session, facilitators will introduce and discuss foundational research and practices that are demonstrably easy to implement in multiple learning contexts.
