Basic Information
Having an edible landscape can be both rewarding and fun! Join Chadwick Arboretum and Master Gardener Volunteer Bill Johnson during this 1-hour presentation on growing and caring for fruit trees, brambles, and other fruits in the home landscape.

Bill Johnson loves to help people learn horticultural skills and he presents informative and interesting workshops on topics like pruning, grafting, selecting fruits for your Central Ohio gardens, vegetable gardening and more. He wants you to have passion for plants and learning while having an enjoyable time.

Bill has learned by attending classes and reading - but much of his knowledge was learned by doing it himself and working with knowledgeable professionals and experienced growers. Bill grows rhubarb, thornless blackberries, red and black raspberries, blueberries, gooseberries, goji berries, elderberries, grapes, apple, pear, peach, paw paw, pie cherry, fig and quince.
