Sanja Ilic

Sanja serves as a Food Safety State Specialist. She investigates transmission and dissemination routes, and interventions to prevent risks of microbial contamination (STEC, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella spp.) in foods, and works to promote food safety among consumers, food handlers and populations at risk. Her research investigates novel interventions to control and eliminate foodborne pathogens to improve consumer health and wellness.
