Three complete LEAD21 training

Monica Giusti of the CFAES Department of Food Science and Technology, Bruce Clevenger of CFAES’ OSU Extension outreach arm, and Martha Belury of Ohio State’s College of Education and Human Ecology recently completed the national LEAD21 leadership-development program.

LEAD21’s primary purpose is to develop leaders at land-grant institutions and their strategic partners—leaders who link research, academics, and Extension and are equipped to lead more effectively in an increasingly complex environment, either in their current positions or future positions.

During the past year, the program’s 90 participants met regularly with their peers, both in person and virtually, to enhance their personal leadership capacity. The participants represented land-grant institutions and their strategic partners from across the United States.
