College News

  1. Eric Bode joins us March 17. He comes to the college from the Ohio Department of Education, where he served as executive director for school finance. His office will be in 254 Agricultural Administration Building in Columbus.

  2. The program took place on Feb. 20 in Columbus. Here's what went on ... and who won top honors.

  3. CFAES presented its 2014 Alumni Awards on March 1 in the Ohio Union in Columbus. Here's the list of the 13 deserving recipients.

  4. The CFAES Library will move to 322 Howlett Hall, 2001 Fyffe Court, starting March 17.

  5. A recent college-wide effort, organized by ACEL, collected two vanloads of clothing, shoes and toys for needy children in Choluteca, Honduras.

  6. OSU Extension is offering up to three Extension Director's research associateships for the Master in Plant Health Management for autumn 2014. But the deadline to apply is soon -- March 15.

  7. CFAES Dean Bruce McPheron addressed 28 members of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities' International Agriculture Section on Feb. 7 during the group's first online webinar.

  8. Ohio State now ranks No. 4 nationally as a top producer of Peace Corps volunteers, up five spots from 2013. The university's Peace Corps program is administered by CFAES's Office of International Programs in Agriculture.

Diversity Unity Community

  1. Open Doors consists of three modules focused on recognizing, identifying and addressing bias. The upcoming program makes up for a Feb. 5 session that was cancelled due to bad weather.
