CFAES’s Wooster campus hosted seven visitors from Ukraine on April 26. The visit was coordinated by Wooster Rotary as part of Rotary International’s Open World program.
The visitors all had an interest in agricultural technology and were employed in ventures ranging from fruit orchards to grain farms to the marketing of agricultural products for export. During their day on campus, they learned about Ohio State ATI’s beef cattle handling facility, precision agriculture equipment, cover crop research and hydroponic lettuce production. They also toured OARDC’s bioenergy laboratory.
