The United States needs more experts in agriculture. A recent study shows that there will be 58,000 new job openings each year over the next five years in fields related to food, agriculture, renewable resources and environmental sciences, but projections say there will only be enough graduates for 60 percent of those jobs. The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) offers 20 majors and 30 minors in exactly those fields.
