David Gardner is a Professor of turfgrass science at in the department of Horticulture and Crop Science at The Ohio State University.  He teaches several undergraduate courses including turfgrass management, statistics, and plant taxonomy.  His research interests and extension program are in weed management both in turfgrass and landscapes.  He also researches turfgrass shade stress physiology with the goal of reducing management inputs necessary to maintain golf courses, sports fields and home lawns.
