Overview
The Leica TCS SP5 is a spectral confocal microscope featuring a spectrophotometer in place of conventional emission filters, giving researchers full flexibility in fluorescence detection. This is particularly advantageous for difficult dye combinations or plant tissue where autofluorescence may be a problem.

- Spectrophotometer-based detection replacing conventional emission filters for fully tunable emission windows
- Acousto Optical Beam Splitter (AOBS) delivers bright, noise-free images with minimal photodamage at high-speed scans
- Available for live and fixed samples, including tissue, organoids, cultured cells, bacteria, and plant tissue
- Four excitation lasers cover the most commonly used fluorescent dyes
