Liquid Nitrogen

Liquid nitrogen is available for walk-in collection anytime during working hours — no advance request needed. Simply visit Selby Hall and follow the instructions posted on the wall to collect your supply.

How it works:

  • Walk in anytime during working hours — no booking or request required
  • Follow the step-by-step instructions posted on the wall at the collection point
  • Bring your own approved dewar or container for transport
  • Contact RASC staff if you need assistance the first time

Please note:

Same-day or walk-in dry ice requests cannot always be accommodated. Ordering 24 hours ahead ensures your supply is ready when you need it.Charges apply once a request is submitted, even if the dry ice is not picked up. To cancel, contact RASC staff before

On-Demand Dry Ice

Dry ice is available on request for sample transport and storage needs. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance for pickup at Selby Hall 015.

Request & Pickup Policy

  • Once a request is submitted, charges apply regardless of whether the dry ice is picked up
  • Requests may be canceled only by contacting RASC staff before the block is prepared

Pickup Instructions

  • Bring your own cooler for transportation
  • Come to Room 015, Selby Hall, to collect your dry ice
  • Scan the QR code on the wall
  • Fill in the details to log your usage for billing
